How does Kitab track my reading?
Start a session with a tap when you begin reading. Kitab tracks the time you spend, and you can log the pages you've read — building up your focus time, pages-read total, and reading streak automatically.
What is Kit?
Kit is your personal reading companion inside the app. Kit checks in on your mood and progress, and helps keep you accountable to your reading goals — without feeling like a chore.
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you've completed a reading session. Keep your streak alive by reading at least a little bit every day.
Can Kitab help me avoid distractions while reading?
Yes — Kitab can use Screen Time to help block distracting apps during your reading sessions, so you can stay focused on your book.
Is my reading data private?
Yes. Your reading sessions, books, and stats are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What devices does Kitab support?
Kitab requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
